SAY U CREATES REPOSITIONING STRATEGY FOR BELIEVE PORTUGAL

Say U Consulting will apply its Communication model “GO360º” to the disclosure of Acredita Portugal, at a time of redefining the positioning of the initiative and of transformation in the national panorama of Entrepreneurship. The model also serves as a starting point for supporting the initiative's finalist projects, which will have access to the partnership with the consultant to think about their Communication strategy associated with activation in the market.

 

Lisbon, December 14, 2016 - Acredita Portugal's repositioning strategy will be based on the “GO360º” model, developed by Say U Consulting as a Communication partner for the initiative. The model, which emerged to enhance a structured dissemination response to startups and emerging projects, aims to reposition the Association's visibility and point out its relevance in a changing context. Recent studies point to the reinforcement of the weight of startups in the panorama of the national economy: 2015 emerges as the year with the highest number of constitution of new companies since 2007, with the overwhelming majority of startups created as a result of individual initiative.

In its last six editions, the Acredita Portugal Entrepreneurship Contest supported 56.196 projects and helped to develop and 7.742 business models. At this moment, the first phase of the 7th edition of the initiative is taking place, with the process of receiving applications to extend until January 15, 2017.

For Pedro Queiró, CEO of Acredita Portugal, “At the seventh edition of this contest we feel that we have reached a maturity that allows us to think about repositioning the way we present the mission of this initiative and how we seek to reach those who are its target audience. At the same time, changes in the context of entrepreneurship and innovation in Portugal mean that we find organizations and professionals more attentive to this concept and its implications, endowed with a different knowledge regarding thinking about entrepreneurship in its different valences and how this can represent a real possibility of career and growth ”.

According to Marta Gonçalves, Managing Partner at Say U Consulting, “The current context and discourse in the national market reveal a preponderance of the startups phenomenon and an increased appetite for putting projects of an entrepreneurial nature into practice. Based on this observation, we considered that it makes perfect sense to apply Say U Consulting's know-how and experience in the context of Communication through a solution designed from the ground up for this type of organization and that would function as an enhancing element for its recognition, sustainability and growth. The partnership with Acredita Portugal, which has lasted for three years, helped shape the GO360º, - the model we developed to be applied to the design of startup business communication strategies ”.

Each of the winning ideas in this edition of the Montepio Acredita Portugal Contest, known in June, is given the opportunity to develop a Communication plan in partnership with Say U Consulting through access to the product kick-off “GO360º”, as a lever for positioning and implementing projects in the market.

About the Montepio Acredita Portugal Contest:

The Montepio Acredita Portugal entrepreneurship contest was created to respond to the association's mission: to foster a culture of possibility to unleash the entrepreneurial potential of the Portuguese.
This is intended to be a training space in entrepreneurship, which allows generating new ideas, structuring ideas in projects, testing concepts, preparing business plans and presenting the projects to investors.
The winners will be given prizes for services, so that they can have the opportunity to launch their idea and put it into practice, which is the main objective of Acredita Portugal and its competitions.
