Lisbon, December 17th, 2018<\/strong> - A Mazars<\/a>, an international, integrated and independent auditing and consulting firm, specializing in auditing and auditing, accounting and outsourcing<\/em>tax advice,\u00a0consulting<\/em>\u00a0e\u00a0financial<\/em> advisory services<\/em>, today announced the appointment of Herv\u00e9 H\u00e9lias as Chairman. H\u00e9lias had been appointed CEO of the group in 2016 and now succeeds Philippe Castagnac, who successfully held the positions of Executive Chairman for the last seven years and CEO of the group from 2011 to 2016.<\/p>\n

While in charge of some of Mazars' main clients, including BNP Paribas from 2000 to 2009, he led the audit area for Public Interest Entities (PIE) and held the position of Managing Partner of Mazars in France, alongside the position of co-CEO of the group since 2012.<\/p>\n
