The numbers are impressive: 190 million users, more than 400,000 topics and 775,000 visitors a month in the United States alone.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pinterest -<\/strong> Although it is now better known to the general public, it still doesn't seem to be one of the main options for brands when they think about their <em>social media<\/em>. According to some studies, more than 80% of consumers claim to have bought a product because of Pinterest.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reddit -<\/strong> Unlike most other social networks, the <a href=\"https:\/\/pt.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reddit\">Reddit<\/a> works more as a community than for marketing purposes. Microsoft, for example, uses it as a customer support channel. On average, a user spends just over 15 minutes per visit on the platform. A statistic that speaks for itself.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nextdoor -<\/strong> Although brands, especially internationally, are paying more attention to Nextdoor, it is still a very interesting network for NGOs to share content. This social network has more than 17 million recommendations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are just four examples of <a href=\"https:\/\/say-u.pt\/en\/2018\/10\/29\/social-media-the-new-channels-of-public-relations\/\">social networks<\/a> alternatives to the ones we usually know.
