Lisbon, May 24, 2019 \u2013<\/strong> The finalists of the 9th edition of the Montepio Acredita Portugal Competition will be announced at the initiative\u2019s closing gala. The winning projects were selected from among more than 10,000 ideas submitted to what is the country\u2019s largest entrepreneurship competition.<\/p>\n

Seven winners will be announced in the contest, one for each category of the initiative: Social Entrepreneurship, Mobility (2019 Brisa Mobility Award), Technology (K.Tech Award), Communication (Aut\u00f3noma Award), Water and Sustainability (H2O Innovation Award by \u00c1guas de Gaia), <\/strong>Products and Services and the category of <\/strong>Health and Wellness.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Gala begins at 8:00 p.m. It is a free event open to the public, who will also be able to vote on the projects in the competition. The awards ceremony is also an opportunity to meet and interact with the entire ecosystem, including event partners, advisors, jury members, and investors.<\/p>\n

The event will also feature a talk by Miguel Pina Martins, CEO of Science4You, on his entrepreneurial journey and the challenges he has faced along the way.<\/p>\n
