The announcement made by the\u00a0civil society<\/a>, The State, the government, and the third sector, with a focus on the public interest and the development of a democratic society committed to citizenship\u2014this is the definition of Public Communication.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Its ultimate goal is to bridge social divides and expand individual analytical capacity for the benefit of the collective.<\/strong> Public communication blurs the lines between the public and private spheres, creates opportunities for civil society and its organizations to act in areas previously considered the exclusive domain of the state, and requires citizens to take an active, critical, and responsible stance.<\/p>\n Thus, Public Communication emerges as a process committed to promoting open governance, establishing channels, media, and resources that enable communication in the public interest and the involvement of society as a whole. It must be transparent, timely, and tailored to citizens\u2019 needs so that they can access public information such as taxes, vaccines, public policy discussions, changes in legislation, or the rights and duties of citizenship. It must also inform citizens, providing them with power<\/a>.<\/p>\n Building high-quality communication\u2014particularly public communication\u2014requires much more than just technology, a large volume of messages, and the channels used to disseminate them. It requires research, planning, strategy, diversification, and customization.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not about increasing the number of messages and channels used to distribute them. It\u2019s about improving the quality of that communication by defining the stakeholders <\/em>for which this should or should not be addressed, ensuring that the message conveyed is easy to understand so that there is no exclusion or discrimination.<\/p>\n
