However, the work of a strategic leader is no easy task, and very few people understand what it entails.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few <strong>Characteristics of a Leader with Strategic Thinking<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Knowing how to think critically: <\/strong>It is characteristic of a strategically minded leader to question everything around them. It is necessary to truly analyze problems to identify their causes, challenge beliefs and ways of thinking\u2014including one\u2019s own\u2014and uncover hypocrisy, manipulation, and bias in organizational decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Align: <\/strong>Consensus is rare these days. A strategic leader must encourage open dialogue, build trust, and engage key stakeholders, especially when opinions differ. To do this, it is essential to understand what drives people\u2014including what remains hidden\u2014to bring difficult issues to the surface, even when it is uncomfortable, and to assess risk tolerance.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Decide:<\/strong> Many leaders fall victim to \u201canalysis paralysis.\u201d It is necessary to develop processes and apply them, carefully framing decisions to get to the heart of the matter, striking a balance between speed, rigor, quality, and agility. Sometimes, it is necessary to leave perfection to a higher power and take a stand, even with incomplete information and differing points of view.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Interpret:<\/strong> A leader with sound strategic thinking must know how to interpret information. Ambiguity is unsettling. When faced with it, a leader is forced to come up with a quick solution.
