According to a study conducted by Social Fresh in March 2016, the social media platform most frequently used by advertising and marketing professionals when advertising on online platforms is Facebook<\/a>. 61%, a marketing executive, stated that the company had run an advertising campaign on this platform over the past two months.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, 32% of marketing directors consider the Twitter<\/a> as the ideal platform for advertising. Next comes Instagram. 30% ranks the photo-sharing social network\u2014which has grown dramatically over the past year\u2014as the best tool for promoting brands.<\/p>\n

Next, 23% of respondents said they use LinkedIn for advertising, while 8% prefer Pinterest. Even so, Snapchat appeals to 4% of communications professionals.<\/p>\n

Given that the study was conducted 7 months ago, it is possible that the data may have fluctuated slightly. For example, it is assumed that Instagram and Snapchat\u2014which have gained prominence\u2014have seen an increase, while Facebook remains at the top of this ranking.<\/p>\n
