A agap2IT<\/a> It ranks among the Top 10 Large Companies in the \u201cExcellence Index\u201d study, an initiative designed to recognize organizations that invest the most in human resources management and employee motivation. The consulting firm was recognized among a total of 180 participating organizations.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lisbon, February 9, 2017<\/strong> \u2013 Today, agap2IT ranked 7th in the Large Companies category among the organizations participating in the \u201cExcellence Index\u201d study, an initiative aimed at identifying and promoting the \u201cwinning factor\u201d in organizations and helping to enhance the elements that impact employee motivation. The consulting firm\u2019s commitment to training and developing its professionals was recognized among 180 companies.<\/p>\n

According to Filipe Esteves, Director General of agap2IT, \u201cagap2IT\u2019s approach to human capital has always been based on fostering close relationships and valuing employees within the organization. The challenge lies not only in recruiting the best professionals, but also in enabling their genuine growth. Investing in the training of our teams ensures that we can keep pace with a competitive environment and set ourselves apart from other organizations in the market.\u201c<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The strategy developed by agap2IT, which aims to grow to 13.7 million euros in 2017, focuses on valuing its employees and equipping them with skills and knowledge. In this regard, technical and personal training is an essential tool, as skills and knowledge are key to competitiveness (for the past 8 years, agap2IT has been investing heavily in training hours, training quality, and, for the past 4 years, in a Prometric certification exam center and, more recently, in a Pearson Vue certification exam center).<\/p>\n

With the goal of identifying talent to join the agap2IT team, the Academy began operations in late 2013 with the goal of accelerating the experience and knowledge of young IT graduates, facilitating the identification and recruitment of young professionals, and equipping them with the skills needed to work on consulting projects.<\/p>\n

Thanks to agap2IT\u2019s international growth, the organization has been able to offer its consultants greater mobility, and they are also drawn to the company because of the additional assurance it provides in terms of the group\u2019s security and stability. Since it is difficult for a professional in this field to accept an international challenge and move to a new environment they know little or nothing about without additional support, agap2IT\u2019s consultants can rely on the firm\u2019s presence and infrastructure throughout Europe, which ensure their integration and ongoing support.<\/p>\n

The 2016 Excellence Index is a study of organizational climate and human capital development conducted by Neves de Almeida | HR Consulting in partnership with Human Resources Portugal and INDEG-ISCTE. This is the first edition of this study, which analyzes the current state of human resources practices in Portugal.<\/p>\n
