Conference \u201cAprender@PT: Transforming the education and training model for the challenges of the future\u201d takes place at the Porto Higher Institute of Engineering. The aim is to put human capital at the center of a vision for the 21st century.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Lisbon, October 10th -<\/strong> The \u201cPortugal Agora\u201d platform - www.portugalagora.com<\/a> - is organizing the conference \u201cAprender@PT: Transforming the education and training model for the challenges of the future\u201d on Thursday, October 12, at 6.30pm. The event will take place in Porto (Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto - V\u00edtor Santos Auditorium).<\/p>\n

In this event, the first of the Aprender@PT project, the aim is to formulate solutions to move from strategy to action on the issue of education and skills development, based on an essential principle: the focus on learning, as the starting point, and not on the \u201ceducation system\u201d, which should be a consequence.<\/p>\n

And, specifically, to list measures that can accelerate this transformation in Portugal and put human capital at the center of a vision for the 21st century.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis event aims to make a prospective analysis and consolidate proposals for a new learning paradigm\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, says the president of the \u201cPortugal Agora\u201d platform. Specifically, Carlos Sez\u00f5es adds, \u201chow to give children, young people and adults the skills (personal, social) that will enable them, on the one hand, to fit in and build value in society, and, on the other, the skills to face the challenges of work in the 21st century.\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n
