KCS IT won 6th place among the Large companies in its first participation in the "Index of Excellence" study, an initiative that evaluates around two hundred organizations and is designed to reward those who invest the most in the development and satisfaction of their employees.

Lisbon, February 21st, 2019 - KCS IT won 6th place in the Large companies in the 3rd edition of the "Excellence Index" study. The winners of the initiative, which aims to analyse the organizational climate and human capital development and is carried out by Neves de Almeida | HR Consulting, in partnership with Human Resources Portugal, Executive Digest and INDEG-ISCTE, were announced at a ceremony held yesterday in Lisbon.

KCS IT took part in this study, competing with around 200 companies in the initiative. The constant innovation of the brand, coupled with the expansion in the IT market and the proximity created between the organization and its professionals, are among the main differentiating factors pointed out to the consultancy.

For Tiago Farinha, Managing Director of KCS IT, "we have an extremely positive assessment of the evolution of our consultancy, since the challenge of KCS iT's sustainability has been largely overcome. The company, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2018, has grown from 20 to 250 employees and the gradual evolution of the brand, which has now reached maturity, is the culmination of intense work. At the same time, the organization changed its strategy and opted for a rebranding in order to present itself to the market and its consultants with more visible values and identity. KCS IT has also been focusing on its internationalization process, which is considered to be one of the most important steps in the company's strategy, along with the development of new solutions, the search for an innovative offer and the expansion of its operations and results.".

The consultancy highlights the challenges identified at this stage, which mainly involve the process of winning new clients and the possibility of structuring a team to set up abroad, since the company has projects in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The restructuring of its service offer follows a transformation with solutions aligned with the markets in which KCS IT operates and is part of the organization's growth process and the desire to create added value to the projects developed. The organization aims to follow the trends identified in the market by developing solutions in the areas of Web, Application and Mobile, Big Data/Business Intelligence, Infrastructures and Integration.

The brand is presenting a younger, more up-to-date and relevant tone of communication to express its idea of proximity and differentiate itself in its area of activity. It wants to involve all its consultants and provide them with an excellent working environment, facilitating their individual progression.
