  • Uncertainty and new challenges brought about by Covid-19 are obstacles to business survival
  • Program Reshape Crisis Recovery supports companies to overcome the crisis and safeguard the future
  • Solution identifies key areas to address in the short term

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought companies into a context of uncertainty, crisis and threats to their survival. Against this backdrop, Mazars designed the Reshape Crisis RecoveryA recovery program aimed at business continuity and supporting companies to overcome the crisis and safeguard the future.

O Reshape Crisis Recovery is a solution that integrates the assessment of the organization's situation and the operational impact of the pandemic, combined with the study of different scenarios and forecast financial decisions that allow informed decisions to be made in the most priority areas of intervention.

The program makes it possible to identify the areas of the business most affected and requiring a proactive and immediate response, to make operational practices more flexible, to structure costs in line with the pandemic and to design solutions to any challenges that may arise.

As Sérgio Santos Pereira, Partner and Head of Tax at Mazars Portugal, explains, "In the current context of pandemic and imminent recession, many companies are questioning the best approach to developing their business, trying to understand how they can survive and continue to be successful. Managing a business and identifying priority areas for action in a context as disruptive as the current one is a large-scale challenge. We put our ability to analyze and identify trends at the service of this challenge. We hope that this knowledge, combined with the ability to relate it to the reality of each company and the market, will promote the resilience and growth of Portuguese companies."

The tool consists of 22 short questions relating to five key areas for business success: Sales & Markets, Business Operations, Innovation & Digitalization, Performance & Financial Strength e Leadership & Management.

After completing the questionnaire, the company receives a heatmap illustrating the impact of the crisis on each of the key areas identified and insights related to each of the areas.
