Lisbon, June 5th - As part of the 2030 Agenda and the fight against climate change, Euromaster, a network of workshops specializing in comprehensive vehicle maintenance, has set its own sustainable development goals. On the occasion of World Environment Day today, Euromaster points to being the network with the lowest environmental impact, contributing to the reduction of customer emissions, being an example for giving a second life to products that are at the end of their useful life and being recognized as a green and sustainable workshop network as the four (4) "Euromaster Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)".
ODSE#1
To become the network with the lowest environmental impact, Euromaster will focus on reducing energy consumption in the different maintenance centers, replacing company cars and mobile vans with more efficient means of transport and adopting more sustainable energy solutions, such as installing solar panels in the workshops.
ODSE#2
Promoting emission reductions among its customers through the use of special tires that ensure a significant reduction in fuel consumption, optimized tire care (pressure monitoring, alignment and replacement) and the provision of certified CO2 savings programs to support customers in their carbon footprint goals.
ODSE#3
To set an example in recycling end-of-life products, Euromaster will use the commitment of its parent company - Michelin - to produce thousands of retreaded tires every year and ensure that almost all of its tires, oils and parts are recycled by certified organizations. At the same time, it will develop a sustainable purchasing policy throughout the supply chain.
ODSE#4
In order to be recognized by both employees and society as an ecological and sustainable network, Euromaster will promote awareness of climate change internally. The company will organize and sponsor events where people who are part of the network of workshops specializing in comprehensive vehicle maintenance can volunteer and take action in their communities, and offer practical training in efficient driving techniques for customers, "tips" that will extend tire life and reduce fuel consumption.
