agap2IT has launched the Career Boost program, aimed at professionals with some experience in the market who want to change jobs. The initiative is based on the consultancy's track record in training professionals in the IT sector.
Lisbon, September 14, 2022 - agap2IT has launched Career BoostThis is a program designed to recruit and train professionals with short professional experience who are dissatisfied with their current job. This career reorientation includes personalized training and association with a project in which these professionals feel motivated to participate.
Ricardo Schiller Pinto, Head of R&D at agap2IT, explains this commitment to the development of professionals, since "In view of the shortage of talent in the areas of Innovation and Technology, it is increasingly essential to value and retain professionals. New graduates - who are generally highly sought after by companies - and employees with short professional experience cannot be left out of this spotlight. This model aims to stimulate the interest and motivation of the latter group to work in the IT area, while at the same time positioning agap2IT as a differentiating company in attracting Talent."
The training will be similar to that already carried out at the agap2IT Academies, and will vary in duration depending on the learning demonstrated by the trainee, but will never exceed 3 months. The training includes certifications in C# Engineer Certification, React Developer, skills fullstacktechnical training in architectures and good software development practices.
In 2021, agap2IT secured a position in the podium of the Excellence Index, the largest free organizational climate and human capital development study carried out in Portugal. The initiative is developed by Neves de Almeida HR Consulting, in partnership with Human Resources Portugal, Executive Digest and ISCTE Executive Education. Its main objective is to highlight the best practices in Human Resources.
Experience in nurturing talent
agap2IT has extensive experience in boosting talents who have recently graduated or have little experience in the job market. Since 2013 it has been developing Academies, which have a very practical component in terms of Innovation and Technology.
This joint work between companies, educational institutions and talents interested in deepening their knowledge and entering the market with better skills is carried out at agap2IT at various levels: Academies, university internships, summer internships, international internships, Ambassadors Program and reskilling - Recodme. More than 150 trainees went through the consultancy's Labs area in the most varied training components.
