Portugal 2020 Incentive System
Mazars is supporting its clients' applications to the Portugal 2020 Incentive System. The projects focus on boosting the internationalization of SMEs, developing digital channels and responding to the Brexit process for companies in the British market.
Lisbon, March 2020 - Mazars, an international consultancy specializing in auditing and auditing, accounting, consulting and tax advice, is supporting applications for projects under the Incentive System (SI), within the Portugal 2020 framework. The financial support is aimed at projects that contribute to the promotion of exports, through the development and application of new business models and processes to qualify SMEs for internationalization. Project applications are open for the next three months.
In this context, Mazars supports its clients in identifying the incentive system that best suits the reality of each company, in the search to maximize financial support, in preparing and submitting the application dossier, in signing the contract granting the incentive and in monitoring the implementation of the project.
For Celso Fernandes, Financial Advisory Services Senior Manager at Mazars, "This type of process requires a high degree of technical knowledge and experience, not only to identify the most relevant projects but also to ensure that each step in the process is fully complied with. Mazars has teams with the necessary skills to provide these services, enabling the companies we work with to be more successful in their applications. This is one facet of the mission we set ourselves, with a focus on sharing the companies' goals and acting as a facilitator for their growth."
Applications for the "Internationalization of SMEs" projects take place in three phases, associated with different scopes and deadlines:
Phase I - Priority E-commerce and Digital Transformation is geared towards establishing exclusive commercial transaction channels and digital channels (only for companies that aim to market their products online only). Applications open until March 30, 2020.
