The winning project in this year's "Canvas - Projects That Make a Mark" competition, - 3DWays - is a professional-grade 3D printer that can be controlled remotely.
This printer can reproduce any product up to 3x3x3m in more than 30 materials at a speed up to 40x faster than the mold industry. All this is controlled remotely by 3DWays.
The jury was made up of Amadeu Paiva (Professor at the Autonomous University of Lisbon), Filipe Santos (Professor at the Católica-Lisbon School of Business & Economics) and other personalities. The prize awarded is worth 3,000 euros and will help leverage this project, which certainly has a promising future.
