There are always communication difficulties within organizations, especially between hierarchies.

The study The Digital Culture challenge: Closing the Employee-Leadership Gap” is carried out as part of the digital transformation within companiesThis study is promoted by Capgemini in partnership with Brian Solis - international analyst and digital sector specialist.

The main conclusion of this study is that the main obstacle or difficulty in correctly implementing Digital Transformation within companies is its organizational culture traditional.

Also in this study, it is possible to conclude that 40% of the administrative managers consider that their organizations have a digital culture, but only 27% of the employees have the same opinion.

We highlight some of the main obstacles to Digital Transformation within organizations listed in “The Digital Challenge”:

  • Difficulty for managers to clearly create and convey their vision of digital for their companies;
  • Innovation is still not a reality for most companies
  • Only 7% of the companies surveyed considered that they had the capacity to learn new concepts and put them into practice quickly.
  • Only 37% of employees believe that their company has a culture centered on innovation.
  • 851,000,000 managers believe that their companies promote collaborative practices, but only 411,000,000 employees agree.
