agap2it reaches the 13M€ mark
agap2IT is closing out 2017 on a high note, having solidified its market position and achieved growth in earnings. The Portuguese-based consulting firm reported total revenue of 13.1M€ in the domestic market last year and currently operates in 10 countries through its own offices.
Lisbon, April 5, 2018 – In 2017, agap2IT reported revenue of €13.1 million and a total of 374 employees in Portugal, at a time when the Portuguese-based consulting firm was experiencing operational growth driven by the development of original solutions and demand from diverse sectors. In addition to Portugal, agap2IT also operates in Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Over the past year, agap2IT’s operations have focused on developing original solutions designed to differentiate the consulting firm’s services and enter new markets. An example of this strategy is the company’s investment in FootballISM, a technology platform aimed at maximizing human and material resources in professional soccer. It is the only technology platform on the market capable of conducting detailed, cross-sectional data analysis, providing club executives with the best information for monitoring and decision-making. This strategy aims to consolidate the company’s position in 2018 through the establishment of additional partnerships and client relationships.
In the development of new solutions, the role of investment in Research & Development in blockchain, specifically Blockbase, a product being developed by agap2IT’s in-house staff and consultants who are part of the consulting firm’s training programs.
This year also brings a focus on expanding the consulting firm’s presence, both in the domestic and international markets. Accordingly, the plan is to consolidate its position in countries such as Belgium and to focus on growing markets—such as Ireland—while also expanding the firm’s team in Porto.
For 2018, the goal is to reach the €14.6 million target in Portugal and expand the consulting firm’s team to a total of 390 employees.
