In October, agap2IT will launch the BlockBase Token, a decentralized application (Dapp) designed for secure data provisioning and powered by blockchain technology. This is one of the first Dapp projects on the EOS.IO platform in Portugal, if not the very first. The platform’s white paper is now available for review on GitHub.
Lisbon, September 10, 2019 – agap2IT is preparing to launch the BlockBase solution token. The blockchain platform designed for data provisioning uses a new architecture and is being implemented by the consulting firm’s own team, which is part of its Innovation department. The two-year project, which received support from the P2020 SI – R&D funding program, places agap2IT at the forefront of this technology’s development in both the domestic and international markets.
This solution will function as a DApp, a decentralized application based on EOS.IO technology, which underpins EOS, one of the leading cryptocurrencies in the cryptocurrencies. It was chosen for its versatility, speed, and affordability.
The BlockBase token will be made available starting October 8 through a process called Airgrab. Starting on that date, interested parties can reserve it, and they will receive a certain amount at the end of each month, free of charge. The token will be distributed monthly over a period of 24 months.
BlockBase is one of the first—if not the very first—Dapp projects based on EOS.IO to originate in Portugal. Its distribution will be innovative and is described in the following article: https://www.blockbase.network/blockbase-token-distribution-roadmap/.

This launch follows the presentation of the white paper about the BlockBase platform on the GitHub, a process that all blockchain projects must undergo.
