First of all, realize that your industry—or any factors you consider to be obstacles—are not actually obstacles. Communication always has the power to build up and highlight your organization— Movers & Shakers

Marketing, Public Relations, and Advertising

According to Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.

Public relations professionals are storytellers, focus on creating a narrative that tells the organization’s story and use it as a tool for the company’s growth. Protecting, enhancing, or building a reputation is their main purpose. They are the secret weapon when a crisis arises.

Public relations differs from advertising in that the latter is paid for. The content appears in the media because someone paid for it to be there. Public relations, on the other hand, works to persuade the media to feature the content, and it is the quality of that content that determines whether or not it will be included in the media.

In terms of marketing, it is the technique that brings together the efforts and resources that help sell the organization's product or service.
