From the Among the many lessons from this pandemic, one of the most universal is that the environment will dictate the course of organizations. The backdrop for this diversification is digitalization, one of the few ways today to reach potential customers—a task fraught with many challenges that are difficult to address— but one in which marketing communications can help provide a solution—specifically in promoting and defining a brand strategy, refining the commercial approach, and determining the right product range with the required quality for a specific geographic market.
Many of the sales are brands and CRISIS, brands that are created for others, which requires defining a strategy that places the institutional brand at the center, in order to convey the intrinsic values of a company or organization. The expectation is that brands will be put to the test in the near future in terms of authenticity, environmental impact, and social responsibility.
From an institutional standpoint, companies will have to define, communicate, and uphold the values which they champion as institutions that are part of a social, economic, and environmental ecosystem. Communicating these intrinsic values and determining how to position them for the future are the topics that will be on the table.
