The 20 finalists of the current edition of the entrepreneurship competition have been selected. Believe in PortugalThe competition was chosen from over 13,000 applications. The projects will now be submitted to a final evaluation phase to find the winners who will receive specialized support for their entry into the market.

Lisbon, June 9th, 2015 - The 20 finalist projects in the 6th edition of Acredita Portugal's Entrepreneurship competition are preparing for the last evaluation phase of the initiative, a pitch to an invited jury which will select the winning ideas that will take home a bag of services provided by partners to support their implementation in the market.

The more than 13,000 ideas submitted were put through the DreamShaper educational tool, through which they learned how to develop their business plan. The finalist projects are now in a pre-acceleration period, receiving individual support from the Acredita Portugal team and experts who will ensure that the projects are as prepared as possible to raise investment and prepare for their entry into the market. This process culminates on June 17th with the pitch to the jury and investors. The winners of the competition will be announced at the Acredita Portugal Gala on June 25 in Lisbon.

The 20 finalists selected represent the entrepreneurial spirit that we identify in the national context, the ability to come up with an innovative idea and turn it into a marketable asset. In this sense, we confirm the purpose of this initiative as a stage for giving visibility to Portuguese entrepreneurs".

The 20 finalists are in three different categories of the competition, Make Your Dream Come True (projects of Trade, Services and Industry; New Ideas e Social Entrepreneurship), InovPortugal (High Technology; New Ideas - B2B e New Ideas - Web & Mobile) e Brisa Mobility.

The winners of the competitions promoted by Acredita Portugal are offered partnerships with entities of various kinds, in the hope that they will provide the essential tools to support them in the phase of go to marketThere will also be an investment prize of €50,000 awarded to one of the finalists by one of the association's partners.
