Fostering a Dynamic Culture

Fostering a Dynamic Culture

Given the level of investment brands are currently making in their digital transformation, it comes as no surprise that the pace of activity surrounding this concept will accelerate in the near future. 95% of organizations report that the pace of their transformation will accelerate over the next three to five years, and one in five expects this trend to evolve very rapidly. Regardless of the expected pace of change, it is important to remember that digital transformation is a long-term goal.

Over the past two years, the number of companies that say they are in the final phase of their digital transformation has remained unchanged. Similarly, the number of organizations planning to develop a comprehensive digitization process or currently implementing one has remained the same. The major shift during this period lies in a clear reorientation from one-off digitization projects toward a more structured and comprehensive plan.

These results seem to suggest that, over the past two years, there has been a surge in initiatives related to digital transformation, as well as an understanding of the need to develop this process. As the visibility of this issue among management increases and investment grows, the planning phase should also be expanded. For this reason, although it may appear that no progress is being made, this is simply because the context is changing as rapidly as planning and execution within organizations.

The shift from one-off actions to a planning-based approach represents an important step in the journey toward digital transformation, as these initiatives become increasingly relevant within the organizational environment.
