Lisbon, November 11, 2019 - A J. Baptista - Jewelry, Silver and Antiquesis one of the brands present at the APA (Portuguese Antique Dealers Association) Fall Fair. As part of the event, the brand will be giving a guided tour of its stand (Stand 2) on November 15, at 6pm, and presenting pieces selected for their exceptional nature.

The silver presentation will be given by José Baptista, Managing Partner of J. Baptista, and the jewelry presentation will be given by Ágata Sequeira, research technician at J. Baptista. Among the pieces presented to the public is an important 18th century stool from the Venerable Order of St. Francis in the city of Porto, made by the master João Coelho Sampaio. This stool was stolen during the French Invasions and later recovered, making this a rare opportunity to see it in person.

With nearly 60 years' experience in the study and sale of antique jewelry and silverware, primarily Portuguese, over three generations, J. Baptista offers its qualifications as Official Appraisers licensed by the Imprensa Nacional - Casa da Moeda, Graduate Gemologists specializing in diamonds, coloured stones and pearls, to carry out appraisals and issue guarantee certificates for pieces, restorations and the execution of orders in its own workshop.

The brand has been participating in national and international fairs and exhibitions for three decades and is a member of APA, LAPADA and CINOA. Its pieces are part of important private collections as well as the collections of national institutions and museums.

The purpose of the APA Fall Fair is to present a variety of ancient and contemporary works of art to the general public, both at home and abroad. The event is attended by an independent expert team who guarantee the quality and authenticity of the pieces on display by checking them beforehand.

It takes place from November 13 to 17 at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes in Lisbon.
