Porto | KCS IT reaches 100 employees milestone
Present in Porto since 2017, KCS IT opened a new space in the city this year. It recently reached 100 employees in the north of the country. Expansion in the region is part of the consultancy's global growth strategy, which aims to reach the milestone of 15M€ turnover and 430 employees in 2019.
Lisbon, November 5th, 2019 - KCS IT has reached the milestone of 100 employees in Porto and Northern Portugal. Expansion in the region has been constant since two years ago, when it opened an office in the region. A new office was opened in 2019, responding to the growing demand for its services. It has ample facilities (open space, meeting rooms, technical and training rooms) and nine staff members focused on expanding its network and supporting the work of more than 90 consultants. It is located at Edifício Trindade Domus - Rua Alferes Malheiro 97, Piso 2 - escritório A201.
The consultancy's presence in the north aims to boost the consolidation of this location made possible by its clients, the arrival of new players and a local culture of support and encouragement for innovation and entrepreneurship. It strengthened its approach to consultancy. Reaching the target of 100 employees in Porto and the North in less than two years was made possible by KCS iT's investment in a permanent local development team and by its commitment to partnerships such as SAP and Salesforce.
For 2020, the aim is to continue expanding the KCS iT team in Porto, with a focus on Salesforce, SAP, Oracle and Microsoft solution specialists, Application Development (WEB | Back End), Functional Analysis, Testing and Project Management. The goal will be to increase the number of employees by more than 50%.

The growth in the domestic market is part of the consultancy's 2019/2020 plan, which sets out objectives to expand the existing network of clients, boost its presence in international markets, identify new demographic segments and sectors of activity, and invest in partnerships.
In addition to investing in Portugal and offering differentiating projects as a market affirmation strategy, KCS iT's goal this year is to grow in new areas, namely Digital Marketing and Communication, Business Intelligence, Nearshore Services, Development of Tailor-Made Solutions, Data Science & Analytics and Project Management | PMO.
