LBC appoints new Head of Digital Business Development to strengthen the growth of the digital transformation service line at national and international level.

 Lisbon, November 22, 2022 - Hugo Marques Dias is LBC's new Head of Digital Business Development. The appointment aims to strengthen the consultancy's growth in the provision of digital transformation (DT) services at national and international level, an area in which LBC already has experience in more than 250 projects, in the public and private sectors, in 16 countries, namely Belgium, Brazil, Spain, USA, Ghana, Mexico, Rwanda, Switzerland, in addition to Portugal and PALOP.

On joining LBC, Hugo Marques Dias, previously national account manager at Vodafone, says that "In Digital, LBC has the advantage of integrating technology with the business perspective and the human dimension, thus ensuring a higher success rate, using new models to boost the growth of companies and improve people's lives."

According to Carlos Valleré Oliveira, Managing Partner of LBC, "The creation of this new position and the recruitment from outside the company will support the greater verticalization of the company's internal organization in order to respond more quickly to customer requests and accelerate the company's growth rate, especially internationally."

This year LBC expects to grow 40% in turnover compared to last year, according to invoicing already carried out and contracted by the end of the year.

LBC has four complementary service lines: strategic consulting, digital transformation, talent academy and development consulting.

In the Digital Transformation service line, four areas stand out: Digital Transformation Strategy, including Industry 4.0 and Electronic Governance, Web Development, Process Automation and Data Management.

With a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from The Lisbon MBA, Hugo Marques Dias has developed his career around technology and commercial management, working as National Account Manager at Vodafone, Business Developer at SISCOG and Consultant at Deloitte, among others. Hugo has been a member of the Portuguese Order of Engineers since 2011. He has received several awards for Communication and Entrepreneurship.
