New President of Auditors takes office

José Rodrigues de Jesus is preparing to be sworn in as the new President of the Order of Certified Public Accountants at a ceremony scheduled for January 5. The ceremony will be presided over by the Minister of Finance.
Lisbon, December 29, 2017 – The swearing-in ceremony for the new members of the governing bodies of the Order of Certified Public Accountants (OROC) is scheduled for January 5, 2018; the event will take place in the main hall of the Academy of Sciences in Lisbon. The ceremony will be presided over by the Minister of Finance, Mário Centeno.
José Rodrigues de Jesus is the new President of the Order of Proofreaders, having previously served as Vice President of the OROC Executive Board, and Óscar Figueiredo is the new Vice President of the OROC Executive Board (he was previously a member of the Order’s Executive Board). The new members of the Order’s governing bodies were elected for the 2018–2020 term at the General Election Assembly held last November.
