Lisbon, May 31, 2019 – A platform Portugal Agora is preparing to organize a conference on the theme “Portugal, Best Place to Work,” with the aim of discussing the development of a strategy to attract talent in specific professional sectors and establishing the necessary goals and actions to achieve them.
This event aims to address challenges such as:
- Global professional mobility;
- Portugal's brand attributes and key factors for attracting visitors;
- Conditions for admission and detention;
- Strategies for the various segments: technologies, creators, entrepreneurs, and researchers;
- The return of our diaspora.
In a globalized world, marked by a growing level of interdependence and the mobility of people, technologies, financial capital, and intellectual capital, migration and mobility for professional and family reasons are on the rise. In this context, the factors of attraction, receptiveness, and quality of life in each region are decisive.
This trend should be viewed as a major opportunity for national competitiveness, to strengthen what is known as human capital, with its added value in terms of experience, knowledge, professional networks, and innovation. In this context, the goal is to create a space for self-expression where distinctive skills can shine, thereby increasing the country’s appeal.
