Seresco - Social Commitment
A Seresco, the leading payroll services company in the Iberian Peninsula, which extends its offer to consultancy, development and integration of solutions, technological outsourcing and infrastructure management, is reinforcing its social commitment. It donates 60 cents to a national NGO for every new employee hired by its clients.
With the main corporate values of a vocation for service, commitment to results and infrastructure management, this is an action that meets all these points. Developed as part of the company's social responsibility, it makes it possible not only to project the organization's visibility, but also to affirm its positioning or work on employee involvement and the commitment of client companies.
Social Responsibility Strategy
The activation of the initiative in Portugal is still being thought out and worked on, in order to gain a consistent structure. The name is Salários Solidários and it works through partnerships. It is expected to start this year, with the aim of helping national non-governmental organizations of a social nature.
The commitment or strategy implies a donation of 60 cents for each new employee of the client companies. Seresco is also fully responsible for salary processing.
Implemented in Spain since 2014, the action has been a success. In this first year, the total donation amounted to 2,531.40 euros. The number of integrated salary processing was 4219 employees. In 2015 these figures increased. The number of integrated employees rose to 4,712, with the donation corresponding to 2,827.20 euros.
In Portugal,
It is estimated that the numbers will be lower, however, Rita Mourinha, Sales Director at Seresco Portugal, says that this is an Iberian initiative and Portugal is on the right track to make its mark. Despite being a symbolic act, it is possible to make a difference. She adds that this association between the donation of gifts by each employee in the customer network is also a way of praising them for the positive results that have allowed them to grow throughout the year.
