Last year there were 6,733 registrations for courses in the workshop network, five times more than in 2023. In addition to mobility assistance, safety was at the heart of the actions
In 2024, Euromaster increased the number of training hours for its employees and franchisees in the Iberian Peninsula by 18%, which multiplied the number of registrations by five — from 1,300 in 2023 to 6,733 in 2024.
This increase was due to the implementation of a new 360º training platform, which gave all the centers in the network specializing in comprehensive vehicle care and maintenance greater flexibility in accessing a vast training catalog.
Of the total number of training courses held, around 70% were dedicated to technical and practical sessions on working methods and workshop management. In these actions, special attention was paid to creating a safe working environment in which the health of employees is at the center. To this end, most of the professionals took part in various training courses that put workshop safety at the forefront.
“The more than 500 training sessions, aimed at the employees of our network, focused mainly on the needs that workshops face in their day-to-day work. In total, 6,733 registrations were recorded, with a satisfaction rate of more than 99% from our professionals - a figure that undoubtedly proves the quality and usefulness of the different training courses we provide.”, says Euromaster's Human Resources Director for Portugal and Spain.
Various topics were covered in the different courses, particularly those related to the anti-contamination systems of modern engines, with an emphasis on maintenance and possible breakdowns of components and systems such as the EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve, the particulate filter and AdBlue.
In addition, practical demonstrations were carried out with real vehicles, through which participants learned how to diagnose this type of breakdown, which is so common today.
On the other hand, given the growing importance of “new mobility” vehicles, the professionals in the Euromaster network have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge that enables them to service cars, motorcycles, bicycles and electric scooters, paying special attention to critical points.
As these are new technologies, Euromaster's commitment is to ensure that its employees can service these vehicles safely and with the appropriate training.
Finally, many of the training sessions also focused on the proper maintenance of the essential technical systems that guarantee the road safety of all vehicles, with special attention to key components such as tires, brakes, suspensions and steering.
“In an activity as dynamic as the mechanic's profession, updating and continuous training are crucial. At Euromaster, we are firmly committed to this”, reinforces Iván Llanos.
The training provided by Euromaster is given by a team of highly qualified professionals who are responsible for ensuring that the quality of the service provided by the workshops to the end customer is uniform.
Once the various training courses have been completed, Euromaster's team of trainers makes regular visits to the workshops to check how the training has been applied, guaranteeing correct implementation and clarifying any doubts that may arise.
