Lisbon, October 4th: Mazars, a leading international audit, tax and consulting firm, has expanded its executive team: Filipe Nogueira is the new Partner of Mazars in Portugal. In his new role, the former Special Counsel will lead the indirect tax group, which is part of Tax, and his appointment is aimed at developing, growing and consolidating this business unit, in terms of providing consultancy and tax services. compliance VAT and other indirect taxes.

Filipe Nogueira has a degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto). He has also been a member of the Portuguese Institute of Statutory Auditors since 2003.
He has been working in Mazars' Tax group in Portugal, leading the VAT practice and being responsible for a vast number of national and international clients in practically all sectors of activity.
Throughout his career of more than 20 years, he has accumulated vast experience in the area of VAT, in particular advising companies and various public bodies on VAT planning.
He was named "Indirect Tax Leader" by the international publication "International Tax Review", which highlights world leaders in the tax field.
