Wow! It's hard to believe that a decade has already gone by and that today we're celebrating our tin anniversary. Time flies when you work with passion, lots of energy, and dedication. Already Confucius It said, “Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.”.
It was in July 2009 that we launched our operations in an extremely competitive and rapidly changing market. The crisis was reaching its peak; we didn’t know it yet, but the Troika was preparing to enter Portugal. Crazy?! Nothing like a healthy, controllable dose of madness. We were certain that, with the right amount of passion and a level of dedication that exceeded what the market had to offer, we would succeed. To these two ingredients, we added a customer-first approach and the ability to anticipate needs.
The road had its bumps, of course. But we pressed on, heading toward the future, always maintaining very steady growth and making investments that multiplied our results. The market was demanding this past decade. Only the capable ones (not the biggest ones) survived.
In 10 years, the world of marketing and communication has changed. New players have emerged; the investment hierarchy has shifted; new channels, tools, and media have appeared; traditional media have reevaluated their modus operandi; creativity, yes, but always driven by insights; digital has finally carved out its place; talent is increasingly difficult to attract and retain; everything is faster—and also more fleeting. There is one thing that hasn’t changed: people and (good, effective) ideas are still what matter most.
