AGAP2 bets on growth strategy

agap2 is committed to a growth strategy adapted to the challenges of the current market, based on the reorganization of its service areas and the international expansion of its activity. Expectations for the first year of implementing this strategy point to growth figures of 10%.

Lisbon, December 22nd, 2014 - In the year marking its 9th anniversary, agap2 has set itself the goal of "turning the corner" by conquering new markets and reinforcing internal investment in the consultancy's activity. The expectation is that the strategy followed will lead to a 10% growth in business activity in the first year of implementation.

The strategy followed in 2014 is based on international expansion and the development of the project areas made available by the consultancy.

filipe_estevesAccording to Filipe Esteves, Managing Director of agap2, "the aim is to boost the business model that has been developed. This has been in practice since the 'year zero' of activity and has brought results, clearly evidenced by the evolution that agap2 has experienced over almost a decade. But the reality of the market has been changing and, quite naturally, agap2 has sought to reinvent itself to keep up with the trends and needs identified. Today, we are an organization with references in the market that allow us to understand what added value we have to offer and how we can leverage it in the future."

Internally, agap2 has reorganized its areas of activity, with the creation of a Project Area that integrates different aspects of the offer. Comprising teams from Solutions Delivery, Research & Development and the agap2 Academy, the new strategy follows a single direction that allows for greater responsiveness and the involvement of everyone in defining objectives, resulting in a more versatile and differentiated offer.

In the international context, the aim is to consolidate the Belgian market and expand the business in the Netherlands and Germany. The latter two markets also have different business characteristics, defined by the projects being carried out in the Netherlands and the start-up of operations in the German market.
