When we think of large companies, EDP or Energias de Portugal, as it is commonly known, is one of the first organizations that comes to mind (top of mind). This is due not only to the fact that it provides an essential service, but also to the way in which the company leverages itself.

This promotion and positioning are difficult to achieve. However, as EDP confirms, it is not an impossible goal. There are several factors involved and one of them is, without a shadow of a doubt, the way communication is handled. If the organization didn't bet with the conviction that it does on this aspect, it wouldn't be a third of what it is today.

Top Of Mind? Why?

EDP has a very striking and attractive visual communication. It's easy to associate with. It's easy to tell when an ad is from the organization or not, even if its name doesn't come up immediately.

This identity construction took time and is based on a great communication strategy. It's a brilliant example of a company that is in an unattractive sector and yet is one of the organizations closest to the consumer. So tell me, if the energy sector can do it, why can't yours?

Good communication is what sets the greats apart. It defines who has a competitive advantage or not, who dominates the market or not. This is the 21st century, everything is attractive, we just need to know how to create this attractiveness.
